1. Our Approach
EZPZTool is built around a simple idea: most tools should not need your data at all. Our PDF, image, video, text, and developer tools run entirely in your browser, using client-side code and libraries. Your files and content are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to our servers.
2. No Accounts, No Personal Profile
EZPZTool does not require you to create an account, register, or provide your name or email address to use any tool. Because there are no accounts, we do not store a personal profile about you.
3. Files and Data You Process
For the vast majority of tools, any file you open or text you enter is processed locally in your browser. We cannot see, access, or store that content, and it is not transmitted to us. This is why we describe the tools as private by design.
The only exceptions are features whose entire purpose is sharing something you choose to create. For example, shareable pages such as the Love Surprise Maker store only the content you explicitly submit so that the link you share can be viewed by your recipient. We never use that content for any other purpose.
4. Analytics and Cookies
Like most websites, we use analytics to understand, in aggregate, which pages and tools people use so we can improve the site. EZPZTool uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies and may collect information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and pages visited. We also collect basic, anonymous usage events (such as page views and which tools are used) through a small in-page script. That script stores two short, random identifiers in your browser’s local storage to recognise a returning visitor; these identifiers contain no personal information.
Because tools run locally, opening a file in a tool is not transmitted to us or to our analytics providers.
5. Third-Party Resources
The site loads a small number of resources from third parties, such as fonts from Google Fonts and, for some advanced tools, libraries from content delivery networks (CDNs). When your browser fetches these resources, those providers may see your IP address under their own privacy policies. No file or tool content is sent to these providers.
6. How We Use Information
We use anonymous, aggregated analytics to understand usage patterns, find broken or under-used tools, and decide what to build next. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not use analytics data to build advertising profiles.
7. Your Choices
You can clear the analytics identifiers at any time by clearing your browser’s local storage or using a private/incognito window. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings. If you have a question about data that relates to you, contact us and we will help — because we collect so little, any request is typically simple to resolve.
8. Children
EZPZTool is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent change. If we make significant changes, we will note them here.
